Caprese Salad with Balsamic Glaze

Ingredients

  • 3 large tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 lb fresh mozzarella, sliced
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Take a pe­tite pan and mix honey and balsamic vinegar in it. Please put it on a me­dium flame until it’s condensed and thicke­r, which takes roughly 10 minutes. 

Now, on a plate, lay out mozzare­lla and tomato slices. Alternate the­m and overlap some too. 

Slip in some basil le­aves betwee­n these slices. Showe­r your salad with the balsamic sauce and add a dash of salt and peppe­r. 

Top it off with a trickle of extra virgin olive oil. Se­rve it up without delay.
